Yesterday I set out to find a free tool online that can generate KML and Geo sitemaps. Well, turned out it was a bit of a toughie – I found nothing but junkware.

I was able to create a KML file using Google's own kml generator, but once I downloaded it and checked the code, the lat/long referred to a spot that was about 4 miles southeast from the actual location (wtf?)

And so I decided to be a trooper and bust out a simple KML and Geo sitemap generator that you can use to help your local business website rank higher on Google.
